Latest Blackberry with 4G | Mobile Phones, Tablet | Release Date 2011

As demand for faster speed in data communication among mobile devices increases, the 3G wireless network will soon be replaced by the faster 4G wireless communication. 4G offers speed way faster than the 3G, as well as it is a more secure connection.

RIM announced the Blackberry 4G Playbook in February 2011. This is the first Blackberry device with 4G connectivity. The Playbook is a 7-inch tablet PC that runs on Blackberry Tablet OS. It has 1GHz processor, 1GB RAM, and 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage. Aside from the 4G, it also supports 3G, WiFi, bluetooth, and USB 2.0 (via micro USB) for connectivity. The Playbook has high-resolution 5 Megapixel rear camera and a 3 Megapixel front camera that can function as a web cam.

When it comes to the Blackberry mobile phones, RIM hasn’t announced any smartphone that supports 4G yet. But we are expecting RIM to announce their first 4G phone anytime, as competitors already unveiled their 4G smartphones. Release date might be anytime this year. Motorola, Samsung and HTC for example released their 4G models. Motorola has the Motorola Atrix 4G, Samsung has Samsung Galaxy S 4G and Samsung 4G LTE, and HTC has HTC Inspire 4G and HTC Evo Shift 4G.
